An idea is to either tag everyone or no one in the posts because those who are tagged get more visibility from their FB friends and possibly more votes as a result. Nonetheless, the winners had amazing costumes and they deserved to win. This was a fun contest and we should try it again next year. Maybe best pet costume too. Best Halloween decorations (at home)? Although the family and dad should be where the focus is at.

Thanks a lot Lewis! You’ve been very active in the group and this contest.
Leveling the tags is more than fair and fault of my own. There were limits on different platforms on who was tagged and who could tag themselves.
We’ll get clarity and communicate better with the contestants so we can promote their accounts and/or clearly state how they can self promote if desired.

With other categories, we really wanted to add a house decorations category but it came down to a tight timeline. We’ll streamline the logistics and gather feedback to add a couple categories next year.
Hopefully we fix those upload forms too!
