Today I took the boys to the Wincopin Red Trail. As with all my hiking trips, this is classed as easy on All Trails. I’d put it a little above easy due to a slope down to the water and up the other side after walking around the bend. Lots of tree cover and plenty of wildlife. We saw deer, a frog, and a turtle as well as hearing the woodpeckers. Access to the water is a little more difficult than Patapsco but we did manage it. There are other trails here that you can add in and will come back to do the green trail. All trails are clearly marked.
Overall – 8/10 for Kids
Again this one is suitable for younger kids and I’d not recommend a stroller. Have you ever been? What’s your favorite hiking trail for kids?
